‘Putting the Fun into Fundraising’

The social life of the church is very important, and St Andrew’s Fundraising Team aim to hold a number of events throughout the year, some with the aim of raising funds for the church, but all with the intention of enjoying each other’s fellowship.

Most years the following events will take place:

FEBRUARY AND NOVEMBER                      TABLE TOP SALES

MAY AND OCTOBER                                      UNWANTED CLOTHES COLLECTIONS

JUNE                                                                 CHURCH FETE

JULY                                                                   AFTERNOON FAMILY EVENT

JANUARY, MARCH, AUGUST, OCTOBER   SUNDAY LUNCHES

DECEMBER                                                     CHRISTMAS MARKET

And we also regularly include Barn Dances and Entertainment in Church, such as concerts by Taunton Deane Male Voice Choir and the ‘Rowbarton Riot’ where members of the church community entertain using their own home-grown talent.

We are always on the look-out for items to sell at our events and anything for raffle prizes, so if you have any items you would like to donate – books, bric-a-brac, toys, jewellery, toiletries, bottles, chocolates etc – we would love to have them!  Please contact the Parish Office on 01823 332531 with the details.

Please do all you can to support our events – come along – donate raffle prizes – man a stall – donate items to sell – collect your unwanted gifts that we can pass on to others – encourage others to join in the fun.
