Where your money goes
Month by month, week by week, our church members give faithfully to the work of their parish church. Many work hard to raise additional funds through the different social events that we hold. Have you ever wondered how that money is used?
Like any organisation, we have our staffing costs, both our own employees and a contribution towards the clergy made to the Diocese of Bath & Wells. We also hold in trust for our community a Grade 2 listed building. Historic buildings have their additional costs and need to be repaired sensitively according to strict guidelines. You can see from the pie chart that it costs about £215 per day to provide a parish church as a spiritual resource to our community, where all my be christened, married or hold their funerals, or simply have space to come and worship together or pray alone, each according to their need.
Any gifts you can spare to help us would be warmly welcomed. Please see our How to Give for more information.
