Church Mice

Church Mice is a modest toddler group run by the vicar that meets on Tuesdays in term time, from 2-3pm in St Andrews Church.

Children come and stay with parents or carers. We begin each session with a song and a Bible story, lasting about 15 minutes, then after refreshments the children play until the end.

Church Mice was set up many years ago and has recently been re-formed following a lapse. The aim of Church Mice is to offer parents and carers a place to meet and have conversation with other adults; it also helps introduce young children to prayer and Bible stories as well as enable them to socialise together. There are currently about 15 children involved.

There is no charge and all are welcome to come and try us out. Many parents or carers go on to St Andrews School (just across the road) straight afterwards to collect older children, but you do not have to have any links with the school to come to Church Mice.

For more information please contact Jim the Vicar by him, or by calling the Parish Office (telephone (01823) 332531).
