Holy Spirit, sent by the Father,
ignite in us your holy fire;
strengthen your children with the gift of faith,
revive your Church with the breath of love,
and renew the face of the earth,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Faithful God,
who fulfilled the promises of Easter
by sending us your Holy Spirit
and opening to every race and nation
the way of life eternal:
open our lips by your Spirit,
that every tongue may tell of your glory;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Zoom Morning Prayer - Tuesdays at 9.00am
Around 8 of us are enjoying beginning the day together once a week on Zoom with a time of prayer and Bible readings. There is usually time for a chat afterwards too in our meeting, which lasts for 40 minutes. All are welcome to join us. No books or apps are needed as all the words are shared on the screen from the Church of England website.
Please contact the Parish Office on 01823 332531 if you would like the details.

Bottle Stall - Summer Fete 8th June 2024
I am organising this year's bottle stall for the Summer Fete with the help of Karen Cridland. If anyone wants to donate bottles they can be dropped off in church or to the office. If you are unable to get them to church, I can collect them from you. My contact details are 07769814303 or 01823 975183. Cash donations towards bottles are welcome and can be passed to myself or Karen or left with the office. Regards Darren
Mystery Gift Stall
As usual we will be having a mystery gift stall at the Fete on 8 June and we are in need of items for the stall. Anything which can be wrapped and suitable for any age would be most welcome. The stall usually raises in the region of £100 which is a great help towards the total. Items may be brought to Church on Sundays and given to me or may be left in the Parish Office so please raid those places where unwanted gifts are stored and bring them along. With many thanks – Janet Paynter
Light up the Spire Sponsorship
Would you like to commemorate a loved one? Do you have a special occasion to celebrate?
If you would like to sponsor the illumination of the church spire for one month in 2024, and support St Andrew’s Church, please contact Lesley in the Parish Office for more information.
Diocesan Bible Passage for the Year
Every month a random group of people from across the diocese meet online to reflect on the Diocesan Bible passage for the year.
This year’s passage is the Magnificat and the sessions are online on the 3rd Monday of each month between 7.30 and 8.15pm (always a prompt or early finish).
If you would like to find out more about that and/or sign up to receive the Zoom link then go to Diocesan Bible passage - Bath and Wells Diocese.
It’s a lovely simple monthly habit and I certainly never come away regretting setting aside the time.

The prayer leaflets change with the season to help us keep the rhythm of the Church’s Year. Do please take them and make use of them.
